Product Description
MKD071B-061-GG1-KN is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor. It comes with a plain shaft that features a shaft seal. The motor is equipped with a holding brake with 5 Nm holding torque. The brake is an electrically releasing brake. It clamps down on the motor shaft to prevent it from rotating. The brake requires a 24 Volts DC signal to release the shaft. Clamping delay of the motor holding brake is 20 milliseconds and the release delay is 38 milliseconds. Housing of the MKD071B-061-GG1-KN motor has a standard design with IP65 protection rating. Feedback method supported by the motor is resolver feedback, which is a type of rotary position feedback mechanism used to determine the angular position of a rotating shaft. If required, operators can order an additional encoder for absolute position detection.
Bosch has designed the motor for convection cooling and surface cooling. Continuous output torque at standstill is 8 Nm with convection cooling and 12 Nm with surface cooling. The continuous output current at standstill is 11.2 Amps with convection cooling and 16.8 Amps with surface cooling. The rated motor speed is 4500 RPM with convection cooling and 5000 RPM with surface cooling. The rated torque is 1.7 Nm with convection cooling and 7.8 Nm with surface cooling. Power output of the motor is 0.8 kilowatts with convection cooling and 4.8 kilowatts with surface cooling. Theoretical maximum torque of the motor is 32 Nm and the peak current is 50.4 Amps. Weight of the MKD071B-061-GG1-KN motor is 8.8 kilograms. It has an IP65 rated housing with a black prime coat applied for protection. The ambient temperature for rated output is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
