Product Description
Bosch Rexroth designs the Ac servo motor with an overload guard as per the IP 65 protection category. The MKD071B-035-EG1-KN is used in applications that involve automation and handling, packaging and food-processing machines, and Printing and paper-processing machines. The open motor shafts have an accessible design that allows for a friction-free connection to other machine components. The MKD motor operates well at an ambient temperature of 0 ºC up to +45 ºC and an installation height of 0m to 1000m above mounting sea level. Different mounting position can be adopted when installing the servo motor. The flange sockets of the servo motor can be adjusted up to an angle of 270 degrees. The re-adjustment capability allows a user to change the output direction of the MKD motor to a suitable position. To avoid causing damages to the motor flange socket s, do not use any tools when adjusting or turning it.
The digital AC servo motor uses an optional holding brake to clamp its axis. The holding break has an operational life span of approximately 20,000 motor revolutions- it is not used as a braking system to stop a moving axis. The MKD071B-035-EG1-KN is balanced using a complete feather key. To connect the servo motor to the drive controller, use a shaft key with a sided center hole as per the DIN 332 requirements. The pertinent feather is not supplied as an accessory and is purchased separately.
The MKD motor is designed with magnetic materials that give it a low inertia mass. Generally, the servo motor can be defined as a permanent-magnet motor with electronic commutation. The digital AC motor has a brushless design that allows for maintenance-free operations and high operational reliability. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
