Product Description
The MKD071B-024-KP1-KN is used with an axial or a radial blower in operations that involve extreme loads. The blower connects to the servo motor via a three-core cable with a connection cross-section of at least 0.75 mm2. The MKD motor is not supplied with the blower unit as an accessory; it is purchased separately. In operations like presses, punches, or press inlets, attach shock absorbers to the servo motor to carry the load. The Synchronous motor reaches an approximated maximum torque of 400 ms at a peak current. However, the maximum torque depends on the type of drive controller used with the servo motor. Worm gears from the 58 series are installed on the MKD motor to provide immense reduction ratios and multiply the rotor torque. The worm gears have the following features: Low-play gear teeth, which are re-adjustable during operation, low noise production due to the worm gear principle, high dynamics because of low masses of inertia, low weight since it has an aluminum body.
Bosch Rexroth supplies the MKD motor with a black coated housing; resistant to coloring, chalking, and diluted acids. The MKD071B-024-KP1-KN has a B5 design as per the DIN 42950 requirements. The servo motor is characterized by high dynamics and performance data that make it perfect for operations like handling and automation, packaging machines and the food industry, printing and paper industries.
The servo motor uses a digital feedback system for the direct or indirect positioning of the rotor. The digital encoder/ feedback system also acts as a data storage unit where the control parameters and the motor parameters are stored. The servo motor has an IP65 protection category which is suitable for mounting at any orientation. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
