Product Description
The MKD071B-024-KG3-KN is used in the following applications; Machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, packaging and food-processing machines, automation, and handling. The MKD servo motor is a magnetized motor with electronic commutation. The servo motor is manufactured with magnetic materials that give it a low inertia mass. Bosch Rexroth supplies the AC servo motor with an integrated encoder system to control and position the motor rotor. The motor feedback system sends the appropriate signals to the drive controller to detect and monitor the motor position. The servo motor uses two types of encoder feedback systems - Resolver-feedback (RSF) and the Resolver feedback with integrated multi-turn absolute encoder. Both feedback systems detect the relative and sheer position of the Ac servo motor.
The MKD motor is balanced with the complete feather key as per DIN 332 requirements. A Plain shaft or a Shaft keyway with an end-sided centering hole is used to connect the machine elements to the motor shafts. The pertinent feather key is purchased separately and is not part of the servo motor package. The MKD071B-024-KG3-KN uses a holding Brake to clamp the servo axis when the machine is not in use. The holding brake functions through an electrical release principle, which applies an electric-magnetic field of 24 VDC (± 10%) to close and hold the axis. The digital AC servo motor is stored at a permissible temperature ranging from -20° C to +80 °C. Store the AC servo motor horizontally, in a dry and dust-free place away from vibration. The MKD motor is operated at an ambient temperature of 0 ºC to +45 ºC. Installation should be at 0m to 1000m above sea level. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
