Product Description
Rexroth Bosch brings another high quality and cost-effective permanent magnet motor to market with their MKD025B-144-KG1-KN magnet motor. This high-quality motor features electronic commutation and its special magnet materials used in its construction help to provide low inertia masses and we know that motor inertia is one of the most important aspects of motor sizing. The lower the inertia ratio the more effectively the motor will be able to operate in demanding situations.
The MKD025B-144-KG1-KN motor features electrical commutation which allows for high repeat frequencies of start-stop operation. The machine is designed to be easily attached and can be installed in a variety of positions. This is all thanks to the flange being designed with DIN42948 specifications. The flange size measures 54mm and the centering diameter measures 40mm. The motor provides continuous torques of 0.4 Nm to 0.9 Nm when the motor is at a standstill.
Denoted with “N” in the type code this particular motor type features a resolver feedback type (RSF) with a relative type of position detected. This model is equipped with a holding brake which functions to hold the servo axis when the machine is in a de-energized state. The holding brake utilizes electrical releasing operation. When the motor is in a de-energized state this will cause a magnetic force to act on the brake armature disk. At this point, the brake will close and the axis will be held in place. With the application of 24VDC, the permanent magnetic field compensates by way of the magnetic field that is electrically generated. This, in turn, will open the brake. The motor features an integrated encoder system for motor feedback so that the drive controller always knows what the current position of the drive controller is.
