Product Description
A. Bosch Rexroth manufactures the radial shaft of the MKD motor with materials highly resistant to chemicals and oils. The radial shaft rings are made of rubber and are subject to wear and tear due to friction. Frequent cleaning and lubrication protect the radial rubber seal from wearing and tearing. The lubricant used also acts as a coolant for the frictional heat omitted at the sealing points during operation. The MKD motor has electric commutation ability and can be used in continuous start-stop operations with high frequencies. The servo motor is easily attached to a machine or other drive components because of its flange design, which meets the DIN 42948. The MDF motor bearings are made for high radial loads making it easy to directly overhung pinions and belt pulleys.
The MKD025A-144-KP0-KS is supplied in RAL 9005 black coat resistant to coloring, chalking, and diluted acids. The motor housing can be repainted with an additional coating that does not exceed 40 µm thicknesses. The estimated service life of the motor bearing is L10h = 30.000 h according to DIN ISO 281. The motor bearings are replaceable if the mentioned bearing service life is reached or if the motor produces noise during operation.
The MKD025A-144-KP0-KS complies with design B5 as per the DIN 42950 requirements. The servo motor features high dynamics and performance data that are suitable for use in operations that involve: machine tools, printing, paper industries, handling and automation, packaging machines, and the food industry. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
