Product Description
Digital AC motors by Rexroth Indramat Bosch Group are very popular due to their performance, durability, compact design, and cooling options. They’re being used in several different industries such as textile manufacturing, machine tool manufacturing, machine printing, robotics and other areas. Since each of the areas have its own specific requirements, the MHP PowerDrive Digital AC Motor series by Rexroth Indramat comes in as many as five different versions. Most of the versions follow natural convection mode of cooling along with blower connection option while others feature liquid cooling. The MHP112 series offers compact housing that offers natural convection.
The MHP112 has different models on the basis of frame size, winding code and other components. For example, the part number MHP112C-024-HP3-ANNNNN features a frame size 112 and length C. The digital AC motor has a mass of 23kg and a power rating of 4.3 kW. The power rating at winding is 7.4 kW while near the surface it is 11.5 kW. The digital AC motor follows standard design with four pole pairs and its nominal current (at the housing) is 8.1 amperes. The MHP112C-024-HP3-ANNNNN motor by Rexroth Indramat has a torque constant of 2.37 Nm/A which is quite efficient. The motor can reach up to 148 Nm torque while its rotor inertia is 0.0000273 kgm2. Such a low rotor inertia is sign of super-fast acceleration/deceleration, even then, the motor is provided with a powerful holding brake that can produce up to 70.0 Nm of holding torque.
The MHP112C-024-HP3-ANNNNN digital AC motor offers a shaft with key as per DIN 6885-P1 and a sealing ring. The powerful motor winding offers sufficient insulation. It can withstand up to 155 degree Celsius and allows smooth operation between 0 and 40 degree Celsius.
