The MHP112B-024-HP0-ANNNNN from Rexroth Indramat is a state of the art AC motor, manufactured with high overload capacity due to its capability to dissipate heat through stator windings to the outer wall of the motor housing. The motor features an electronic commutation for peak torques and thus can be used over a wide speed range in continuous operations with repetitive frequencies. The MHP motor can be mounted in either a shock-decoupled or a shock-damped manner for operations that demand activities like punching, pressing, or press feeding. These mounting procedures are dependent on the motor's operation load and should be tested before beginning any operation. The AC motor can be installed in handling machines like the gantry axes and machining centers.
Chucking sets or other chucking components are used to couple the MHP112B-024-HP0-ANNNNN belt discs, pinions, or similar drive components for a free backlash and form-fitting transmission. The AC digital motor can be fitted with radial cooling surfaces for extreme load operations that require continuous start operations with high repetitive frequencies. The radial surfaces are sold separately and should be listed as a sub-item of the motor during ordering. Blowers for the digital motor drive is also available with a supply voltage of 1xAC115 V and 1xAC230 V. Motors with mounted blowers should not be used in shock load applications like stamping, pressing, or in gantry axes.
The MHP112B-024-HP0-ANNNNN uses separate plug-in connectors’ i.e. a power connection with a temperature sensor and a holding brake and a feedback connection. The feedback connector direction is set during mounting and is adjustable over an angle of 270°. Always ensure that power and feedback connectors are installed facing opposite directions.
