The MHP112B-024-HG1-BNNNNN from the Bosch Rexroth is a permanent magnet motor with electronic commutation. It is made with magnetic materials that give it low inertial weight. The AC motor is integrated with a motor feedback module to generate the required signals to the Heidenhain control system to position and control the speed of the digital AC motor. The housing, driven shaft, feedback connections, power, and the overall design of the servo drive motor meet the protection category outlined in DIN VDE 0470. Mounting can be done through its various parts like the pinions and belt discs, thanks to the bearing designed to accommodate high radial loads. The motor is suited for use in robots and packaging machines.
Various positions may be chosen when mounting the MHP112B-024-HG1-BNNNNN as per DIN IEC 34-7. If the AC motor is mounted in a horizontal position, liquids can penetrate and collect at the shafts and eventually cause damage.
