The company has produced different versions of the MHP PowerDrive AC Motors based on functionality and additional features. Variations are available in terms of holding brakes (with or without the brakes), shaft types, and cooling mode. At present, there are five different versions featuring surface cooling while only two versions have liquid cooling options. Going deeper, different models have been produced on the basis of winding codes, frame sizes, length, feedback types and more.
The MHP112C-024-HG0-BNNNNN Digital AC Motor by Rexroth Indramat belongs to the MHP112 family and features a plain shaft with a sealing ring. The connection for external input/output source is available on top of the housing at side B. There are no holding brakes in this particular model. The MHP112C-024-HG0-BNNNNNN motor features a standard 4-pole pair design that accompanies an incremental encoder for measuring speed and accuracy. The incremental encoder (H) offers 2.048 increments. As said, the digital AC motor follows compact design and construction because of which it allows for natural convection and surface cooling.
The MHP112C-024-HG0-BNNNNN PowerDrive motor offers maximum speed of 4500 RPMs at the nominal voltage of 313 volts. The current peaks at 41.4 Amperes while the motor’s maximum torque is 54.0 Nm. The powerful winding offers 1.45 ohms resistance at 20 degree Celsius and can withstand a high temperature up to 155 degree Celsius. The MHP112C-024-HG0-BNNNNN motor offers F class insulation as well as IP 65 protection. There are two options for blower units (if required) and they must be ordered separately. Finally, the motor has a mass of 23.0 kg.
