Product Description
The automation of all kinds of manufacturing processes is one thing that Bosch Rexroth has achieved through its design of highly efficient automation systems. After years of adopting the most innovative technological practices to design such systems, the company maintains the same standard of excellence for which it is known. Today, products by Bosch Rexroth boast of the latest technologies for improved cost-efficiency and optimum performance. This can clearly be seen in the MHD line of servo motors, a group of synchronous servo motors with such top-tier features as low inertia masses, high overload capability, and extensive functionality.
The MHD131B-024-PP1-AN is a permanent magnet MHD motor model with a 131 frame size. This means that its flange size is 260mm, and its centering diameter is 250mm. It uses digital servo feedback (HSF) with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder for speed control and motor positioning. It is also connected to machine elements to be driven by a shaft with a shaft sealing ring and keyway, according to DIN 6885. The motor is equipped with an electrically releasing holding brake whose holding torque value is 100 Nm to clamp the servo axis when the machine is in a de-energized state.
The maintenance-free operation of the MHD131B-024-PP1-AN is made possible by its brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings. These bearings are designed for high radial loads, and this allows the direct overhung mounting of pinions and belt pulleys with the motor. Coupled with compatible Bosch Rexroth drive controllers, it can be used to create a variety of automation systems used for different applications. These applications include machine tools, handling equipment, food and packaging machines, and printing machines.
