Product Description
Although it has been in the market for decades, Bosch Rexroth has maintained relevance among today’s drive and motion control equipment users. This is possible because of the company’s continuous improvement of its engineering and technology practices and its customer service management. Bosch Rexroth has pioneered numerous innovations in the drive industry for the most effective results in all kinds of industries. The MHD family of permanent magnet synchronous servo motors is a Bosch Rexroth line of motors designed to set up highly efficient automation systems with intelligent, digital drive controllers. The MHD131B-024-PP0-BN is a synchronous motor in this series.
The rated speed of the MHD131B-024-PP0-BN is 1500 rotations per minute, but it can reach a maximum speed of 3,000 rotations per minute. The moment of inertia of its rotor is 0.0232 kgm2, and it has a theoretical maximum torque of 220 Nm. The motor encoder system of this servo motor is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. It features a shaft with a shaft sealing ring and key according to DIN 6885-1 and a housing design that allows natural convection or surface cooling. It also has 4 pole pairs but no electrically releasing holding brake.
The MHD131B-024-PP0-BN can be installed in any position that users find most comfortable, and it promotes easy cabling. It can also be commissioned quickly, thanks to the data memory of its integrated encoder system. The operation of the servo motor under adverse environmental conditions is made possible by its completely closed motor design. This makes it resistant to dust, other extrinsic solid objects, and water jets and gives it an IP 65 rating according to DIN EN 60529.
