The MHD131B-024-NG1-RN model is also known as a permanent magnet motor designed by Rexroth Indramat. The model is leading the automation industry due to its high torque delivery at a constant speed. As per the MHD instruction manual, the motor can be installed in IMV1, IMV3, and IMB5 mounting positions. The crane must be used to lift the synchronous motor and preventive maintenance should be carried out after every specific interval of time. The motor temperature is controlled by a temperature monitoring device. The flange design of the motor is B05 with 260 mm flange size and 150 mm centering diameter. The MHD131 synchronous motor is certified under UL standards and a natural/surface cooling option is provided in this model. During natural cooling, the motor generates 33.6 Nm of torque whereas, during surface cooling, the motor generates 96.8 Nm of torque while consuming 14.4 and 41.4 A of rated current.
The model MHD131B-024-NG1-RN is shipped along with a one-year replacement warranty that can be claimed in case of any trouble. The continuous power is delivered by the plain output shaft. The motor rotates at the continuous speed of 1500 rpm while delivering the 6 – 17.5 kW of rated power. The thermal time constant for this model is 45 – 100 min.
