Product Description
Bosch Rexroth manufactures the MHD synchronous motors to be used with its drive controllers. The MHD115C-059-NG0-BN is an MHD motor with a brushless design and grease-lubricated bearings, allowing the motor to function without maintenance. Its temperature sensor protects it from thermal overload during operation. High dynamics also characterize it due to its torque to inertia ratio. This maximum torque value makes it utilizable across a wide speed range. It has a maximum speed of 6,000 revs per min and four pole pairs. The winding code 059, combined with the frame size of 115, flange size of 192 mm, and centering diameter of 180 mm, defines the MHD115C-059-NG0-BN’s electrical output data.
In addition to dispelling heat via natural convection into ambient air, the MHD115C-059-NG0-BN synchronous motor also dispenses heat via liquid cooling. The additional liquid cooling method kicks in when the motor is being operated at higher repeat frequencies and extreme loads. It has a plain shaft that provides a frictionless connection and ensures the seamless running of the motor. The bearing weight is designed for increased loads, which makes the installation of pinions and belt pulleys easier.
The MHD115C-059-NG0-BN synchronous servo motor is very easy to start up as a result of information stored in the memory of its digital servo feedback motor encoder. This integrated encoder system detects the relative indirect position, sends signals to the drive controller, and controls the motor speed. It can be used under adverse environmental conditions due to its closed motor design and protection rating of IP 65. This protection rating indicates that it is protected from damage by water jets, fluids, and solid objects.
