The Bosch MHD115C-058-PG1-LA is a servo motor. When looking from the front onto the driven motor shaft, the power connection is on the left side of the motor housing. The MHD115C-058-PG1-LA is designed for surface cooling and natural convection. The characteristic speed of the motor is 4000 RPM. Performance specifications of the MHD115C-058-PG1-LA with natural convection for the 60K overtemperature condition include 70 Nm torque at standstill, 82.5 Amps current at standstill, 1000 RPM rated speed, 19.2 Nm rated torque and 16 Amps rated current. Performance specifications of the MHD115C-058-PG1-LA with natural convection for the 100K overtemperature condition include 80.5 Nm torque at standstill, 95.6 Amps current at standstill, 1000 RPM rated speed, 50.8 Nm rated torque and 42.7 Amps rated current. Performance specifications with surface cooling include 105 Nm torque at standstill, 123 Amps current at standstill, 2000 RPM rated speed, 30.7 Nm rated torque and 25.6 Amps rated current.
The motor has a flange size of 192 millimeters and a centering diameter of 180 millimeters. Feedback is supported through an integrated multiturn encoder. The motor shaft is plain and is fitted with a sealing ring. This shaft seal prevents oil leakage from the motor and also prevents solid and liquid ingress which could damage the motor bearings. A holding brake rated for 70 Nm is also available on the MHD115C-058-PG1-LA motor and prevents startup from standstill until a release signal is applied. The release signal for the holding brake is a 24 Volts DC signal. The MHD115C-058-PG1-LA motor is designed for professional installation. Only qualified personnel should operate the motor.
