Product Description
Bosch Rexroth exhibits a high level of brilliance in designing and manufacturing its drive and motion control products. This reflects in the design of the MHD series of synchronous motors. They are permanent-magnet motors that can set up highly functional automation systems with the digital drive controllers developed by Bosch Rexroth. Their typical applications include machine tools, paper processing and printing machines, handling, and automation systems, and food processing and packaging machines
The MHD115C-058-NP1-BA is an MHD servo motor model, designed with a flange size of 192mm and a centering diameter of 180 mm. It is a maintenance-free motor whose bearings remain lubricated throughout its service life of 10,000 hours. It also features a brushless design and a completely closed motor that is dustproof, touch-proof, and impermeable to solid extrinsic objects and liquids. As a result, using it under harsh environmental conditions is possible without damaging the motor. It also has a favorable torque to inertia mass ratio, making it suitable for high-dynamics operations.
An electrically released holding brake on the MHD115C-058-NP1-BA clamps the servo axis when the machine is de-energized. It has a holding torque of 70Nm. This motor is cooled by natural convection and surface cooling. Because of temperature sensors on the device, damage due to thermal overload can be prevented. It can reach a maximum speed of 6,000 revolutions per minute and has a theoretical maximum torque of 231 Nm. It has 4 pole pairs and a rotor whose moment of inertia is 138 x 10-4 kgm2. The motor requires an ambient temperature that ranges from 0o C to 40o C and a maximum installation height of 1000 m.
