Product Description
The MHD motors by Bosch Rexroth have several advantages, which make them the motors of choice for various functions. They are made out of permanent magnets obtained from rare earth materials, and this allows them to have electric commutation. The electric commutation gives them a peak torque that applies to wide speed ranges. It also allows the MHD motors to carry out continuous start-stop operations with high repeat frequencies.
The MHD115C-035-PG1-BA’s motor encoder is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder which provides absolute indirect position detection within 4096 motor revolutions. This encoder version also preserves the absolute position of the axis after the voltage is switched off. Its data memory allows for a simple and quick startup of the motor. The motor’s cooling is via surface cooling and this contributes to its high overload capacity. It has an inbuilt temperature monitoring system that prevents it from thermal overload.
For high-performance data, the MHD115C-035-PG1-BA should be operated at an ambient temperature of 40°C and relative humidity of 95%; it should be set up at a height of 1000m above mean sea level. It can carry loads, such as are typically occurring in case of presses, punches, or press inlets when attached to a shock absorber. It also has an electrically releasing holding brake which holds the axle at a standstill when the machine is disconnected from the power supply. The motor is equipped with a standard plain shaft which provides a friction-locked shaft-hub connection without play and excellent running smoothness. It can be easily attached to the machine of choice, and cabling is very easy due to its ready-made cable sets which come in different designs.
