Product Description
To build cost-effective, rapid-response automation systems, the intelligent drive controllers by Indramat can be combined with servo motors such as those in the MHD series. These maintenance-free servo motors can also be used as servo and main drive motors in a wide range of applications. Some of these applications are machine tools, printing, and paper industries, handling and automation systems, and packaging and food processing machines.
The MHD115C-024-NG0-BN is a Bosch Rexroth synchronous servo motor in the MHD series. It is a permanent-magnet model designed with electronic commutation. As a result, it supports continuous start-stop operations with high rates of repetition. It also features a brushless design and is equipped with bearings that remain lubricated throughout their service life. The bearings are built for high radial loads, ensuring the direct overhung mounting of pulleys and pinions. This motor can also be installed in any position as desired by the user and allows easy cabling by the use of versatile cable sets, which are available in different designs.
Based on the EN 60529 specification, the Ingress Protection rating of the MHD115C-024-NG0-BN is IP 65. This means that it is dust-proof, touch-proof, and impenetrable to jet water sprayed from all directions. As a result, the safe operation of this motor in environments with harsh conditions is possible. Its maximum speed is 4,000 revolutions per minute, and its encoder system is digital servo feedback. The encoder has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and detects the relative indirect position of the motor. In addition, this MHD motor model has four pole pairs and a rotor with a moment of inertia of 138 x 10-4 kgm2.
