Product Description
The MHD synchronous motors are a series of ultra-modern servo motors designed and produced by Bosch Rexroth. Combined with digital drive controllers also manufactured by this industrial giant, the MHD motors form the most optimal automatization systems with a wide range of applications. These include handling and automation systems, printing and paper industries, food and packaging machines, and machine tools.
The MHD115B-059-NP1-RA is a motor model in the MHD series. Its motor frame size is 115, and it has a continuous torque at standstill of 50.0Nm. Like other motors in this series, it exhibits electronic commutation and is suitable for constant start-stop operations with a high repetition rate. It is equipped with digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. This encoder system operates optically and records the absolute position of the motor within 4,096 mechanical revolutions. Typical of MHD motors, this motor unit can carry loads when attached to machines such as press inlets and presses in a shock-absorbed way.
The heat generated in the MHD115B-059-NP1-RA is eliminated via natural convection or surface cooling. With these efficient methods of heat dissipation, this motor displays a high overload capability. It allows for the installation of radial and axial blower units used in its surface cooling. When operated within the limits of radial and axial loads, the motor's bearings present a nominal service life of 30,000 operating hours. It has a mass of 40kg and is best operated in a space with an ambient temperature of 40°C or less. In addition, it is painted with a prime black varnish and accommodates an extra layer, provided that a thickness of 40mm is not exceeded.
