Product Description
One of the innovative servo motor series created by Bosch Rexroth is the MHD series. The synchronous motors in this series are ideal for building cost-effective automation systems with digital drive controllers from Indramat. They are also used as servo and main drive motors in handling and automation systems, machine tools, packaging and food processing machines, and printing and paper industries. These motors are notable for their high operational reliability and overload capability.
The MHD115B-058-PP0-AA is an MHD motor model designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. The motor’s brushless design allows it to be operated maintenance-free, in addition to its bearings that maintain their lubrication throughout their service life. Equipped with thermal sensors, it is protected from damage due to thermal overload as users are promptly alerted of such conditions. The electronic commutation of this motor ensures that it can be used for continuous start-stop operations with high rates of repetition. It also allows its peak torque to be utilized across a wide speed range. The theoretical maximum torque of the motor is 160.0 Nm.
An integrated encoder system in the MHD115B-058-PP0-AA ensures that the motor’s position and speed are precisely determined and controlled. The encoder is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. It detects the absolute indirect position of the motor within 4,096 motor revolutions and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. The maximum speed of this MHD motor model is 6,000 revolutions per minute, and its winding inductivity is 1.60 mH. Its output shaft is one with a key according to DIN 6885-1 and a shaft sealing ring. This ensures keyed torque transmission with constant direction.
