Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MHD synchronous motors stand out from others because of their numerous advantages. It makes them the preferred motors for several applications in different industries. These advantages include high operational reliability, maintenance-free operation, overload protection, high-performance data, and high dynamics. They have a wide range of applications, including machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, packaging and food-processing machines, and automation and handling systems.
The motor encoder of the MHD115B-058-PG1-LA is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. It detects the absolute indirect position of the motor within 4,096 motor revolutions. It is also equipped with a plain shaft and a 70Nm holding brake. The holding brake holds the axle at a standstill when the machine is de-energized. It features two standardized electrical connections, one for the power connection and the other for the encoder connection. The power connector includes two connections for the temperature sensor and another for the holding brake. The cables used for these connections should be manufactured by Bosch Rexroth for easy cabling and to ensure maximum function.
The housing varnish of the MHD115B-058-PG1-LA is a prime black coat that is resistant to chalking, coloring, weather, and diluted acids and lyes. It can be used under adverse environmental conditions owing to its completely closed motor design and IP 65 degree of protection. This IP rating indicates that it offers protection against the penetration of dust and water jets directed to the motor housing from different directions. It also has complete shock protection. It should be operated at an ambient temperature of 40°C and relative humidity of 95%. It should be set up at 1000m above the mean sea level.
