Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s MHD motors are highly efficient servo motors designed for building automation systems with extensive functionality. This can be achieved when they are combined with the intelligent digital drive controllers also manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Other applications of the motors are seen in machine tools, packaging and food processing machines, and printing and paper industries.
The MHD115B-058-NG1-BA is a model of the synchronous servo motors in the Bosch Rexroth MHD series. It has four pole pairs and bearings designed for high radial loads so that it supports the direct overhung mounting of pinions and belt pulleys. These bearings stay lubricated throughout their service life of 30,000 operating hours and contribute to the maintenance-free operation of the motor. The maximum speed of the motor is 6,000 revolutions per minute, while its theoretical maximum torque is 160.0Nm. At 20oC, its torque constant is 0.9Nm/A while its voltage constant is 81.8 V/1000 min-1 at the same temperature.
Heat is effectively eliminated from the windings of the MHD115B-058-NG1-BA; hence, it has a high overload capability. It is designed for cooling by natural convection and surface cooling and is equipped with a thermal sensor. This thermal sensor notifies users of potentially harmful overload conditions. The integrated encoder system of this MHD motor model is digital servo feedback of ±0.5 angular minutes. Its measurement system is the optical method, and it detects the relative indirect position of the motor. This motor also has a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring, which allows a friction-locked shaft-hub connection without play and smooth running. The shaft sealing ring is designed according to DIN 3760 - Design A.
