Product Description
To form highly functional systems for a wide range of automation applications, the servo motors of the MHD series can be combined with the digital drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth. These MHD servo motors are synchronous motors with electronic commutation, allowing them to be used for continuous start-stop operations with high repeat frequencies. They can also be operated maintenance-free and installed in any position.
The MHD115B-058-NG1-AN is a permanent-magnet motor in Bosch Rexroth’s MHD series. It is equipped with a rotor whose permanent magnets are built from iron oxide, making it a low-inertia motor. The motor is designed for cooling by natural convection and liquid cooling and has a high overload capability since heat is effectively eliminated from its windings. It also has thermal sensors that protect it from potentially harmful overload conditions. The maximum speed of the motor is 6,000 revolutions per minute and the moment of inertia of its rotor is 93.2 x 10-4 kgm2. It has four pole pairs, while its theoretical maximum torque is 160.0Nm.
There is a holding brake with a 70Nm holding torque on the MHD115B-058-NG1-AN. It is electrically released and holds the motor axis when the machine is de-energized. The motor’s encoder is digital servo feedback, and it detects the relative indirect position of the motor. It works with the optical measurement method and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. The data memory of the encoder also ensures the rapid start-up of the motor and facilitates its safe adaptation to its drive controller. With an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65, this motor is dust-proof, touch-proof, and cannot be penetrated by jet water sprayed from all directions.
