Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is known for manufacturing solutions with state-of-the-art technology. One of its innovative products is the MHD synchronous motor, which is designed to be used alongside Bosch Rexroth drive controllers. The combination of these two creates a cost-effective automation system with extensive functionality. These motors have a wide range of applications, including machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, and packaging and food processing machines.
The MHD115B-058-NG0-LN is a model of the MHD servo motors by Bosch Rexroth. It is equipped with digital servo feedback as its integrated encoder system. This encoder promotes the rapid start-up of the motor and its safe adaptation to its drive controller. The motor is made out of permanent magnets obtained from rare earth materials, allowing it to have electric commutation. Its electric commutation feature allows continuous start-stop operation possible with high repeat frequencies. It is also built with thermal sensors that alert users of potentially harmful thermal overload conditions.
The use of the MHD115B-058-NG0-LN under adverse environmental conditions is possible because of its completely closed motor design and the degree of protection IP 65. The degree of protection grants the motor complete shock protection, protection against dust penetration, and damage from water jets. Contributing to its protection is the housing varnish which is a prime black coat and protects the motor against damage from weathering, coloring, chalking, diluted acids, and lyes. Its output shaft is a plain one with a shaft sealing ring. The major advantage of the shaft is that it provides a friction-locked shaft-hub connection without play for improved running smoothness. It should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and relative humidity of 95%.
