The MHD synchronous motors by Bosch Rexroth are designed to be used in machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, packaging and food-processing machines, and automation and handling systems. They serve as servo and main drive motors and can be used to create cost-effective automated systems when combined with drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth. These motors are characterized by high dynamics, operational reliability, high-performance data, high overload capability, and thermal overload protection.
Before the MHD115B-058-NG0-LA is distributed to users, it is checked for operational safety by Bosch Rexroth. Its motor encoder is digital servo feedback, an integrated system that detects the relative indirect position of the motor. The motor encoder also sends signals to the drive controller to control the motor’s speed and position. It has a robust data memory that ensures the motor's quick and easy start-up and facilitates its safe adjustment to the controller. The motor is equipped with a plain shaft with shaft sealing rings which ensures that the motor runs smoothly. It is a surface-cooled motor with heat dissipation from the stator windings to the outside wall of the motor housing, giving it a high overload capability.
The MHD115B-058-NG0-LA is painted in a black prime coat in a/w RAL 9005, which is resistant to weathering, coloring, chalking, diluted acids, and diluted lyes. It has a completely closed motor design with an IP 65 degree of protection. The housing paint, the closed motor design, and the degree of protection allow the motor to function well under adverse environmental conditions. The maximum ambient temperature for its optimal operation is 45°C, and it should be installed no higher than 1000m above mean sea level.
