The MHD115B-024-PP0-AA synchronous motor offered by Bosch Rexroth must be connected with the manufacturer’s readymade cables as far as possible. This motor is designed to support installation at an elevation of 1,000m over sea level. The product is not designed to be used for applications subjected to shock loads if it is attached with a blower. This device portrays an IP 67 protection rating for encoder and power connectors, shaft and housing if it is fitted with the optional sealing air connector and mounted properly. The sealing air connector can be attached to the unit by replacing the cover of the motor flange socket.
The motor has a maximum pressure rating of 0.3 bar. The product tends to get damaged if there is fluid accumulation at the output shaft for a prolonged period of time. The housing of the device is resistant to diluted acids as well as lyes. The unit can be cooled by either surface cooling or natural convection. It has no holding brake. This motor uses a keyway shaft that has low requirements for the shaft-hub connection. The product must depict a clean shaft sealing point. The device makes use of an FPM sealing material for the sealing ring. The unit encounters radial and axial forces during operation.
This synchronous motor might experience an axis position shift if its driving pinions are not axially defined on the machine side. Its bearings have a service life of 30,000 operating hours in accordance with ISO 281 specifications if the axial and radial loads are within the indicated limits. The encoder in the product is facilitated with a data memory that stores the data required for the motor adjustment. It must be made sure that the shock load limits of the motor are not exceeded during operation, transport and/or storage.
