The MHD synchronous motors manufactured by Bosch Rexroth are servo motors of high quality and high operational reliability. The servo motor model MHD115B-024-PG0-BN is characterized by high dynamics, operational reliability, high-performance data, high overload capability, and thermal overload protection. It has a characteristic motor speed of 4,000 rpm and four pole pairs. The motor's encoder system is digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. This encoder records the absolute indirect position of the motor and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. It runs with the optical measurement method and has a data memory that ensures a quick and easy startup. It also allows adjustment between the motor and the drive controller without the risk of damage to the motor.
The MHD115B-024-PG0-BN has a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring that provides a friction-locked shaft-hub connection without play and excellent running smoothness. It features electronic commutation, making the motor suitable for operations with high repetition rates. Due to its completely sealed housing, it can function under adverse environmental conditions. It has a protection rating of IP 65 according to DIN VDE 0470. Hence, it has complete shock protection and is protected from the penetration of dust and water jets. For adequate function, it should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and a maximum relative humidity of 95%. It should be set up at a height 1000m above mean sea level.
