Product Description
Bosch Rexroth's MHD synchronous motors are a collection of ultra-modern servo motors. Similar to other products by the industrial giant, they are top-notch innovations. When combined with Bosch Rexroth's digital drive controllers, they create optimal, rapid-response automation systems. These systems promote performance and cost-efficiency. The MHD motors have a high versatility and can be used across various industries. Part of their applications includes machine tools, food and packaging machines, printing and paper industries, and handling and automation systems.
The MHD115B-024-PG0-BA is a model motor in the MHD series. It is suitable for maintenance-free operations due to its brushless design and lifelong-lubricated bearings. Its flange size and centering diameter are 192mm and 180mm, respectively. This product also has a characteristic motor speed of 4,000 revolutions per minute and a peak current of 145A. The moment of inertia of the rotor stands at 93.2×10-4 kgm², and it features a rated frequency of 133 Hz. It is also equipped with digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. The encoder provides the information necessary for the drive controller to position the motor and regulate its speed.
Due to its inbuilt temperature monitoring system, the MHD115B-024-PG0-BA is protected against thermal overload. It also has a plain output shaft which enables a friction-locked shaft hub connection. Also, it has high operational reliability, and its Side B is designed for power connections. The motor’s housing design allows heat dissipation via natural convection and surface cooling. With these effective heat dissipation methods, the motor can exhibit a high overload capability. For its proper functioning, it requires a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and a maximum installation height of 1000m.
