Product Description
Bosch Rexroth’s drive systems are recognized worldwide for their extensive functionality and high quality. To obtain rapid-response automation systems, the servo motors of the MHD series by the company can be combined with intelligent digital drive controllers from Indramat. Such systems are used in printing and paper industries, machine tools, automation and handling systems, and packaging and food processing machines.
The MHD115B-024-NG1-LA is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor model in the MHD series. Its flange size is 192mm, while its centering diameter is 180mm. It has digital servo feedback as its integrated motor encoder system for detecting the motor’s relative indirect position. The encoder has a data memory where information like the motor type name, control loop parameters, and other motor parameters are stored. It ensures that the motor starts quickly and adjusts to its drive controller without the risk of damage. The encoder works with the optical measurement principle and has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes.
Electronic commutation is a feature of the MHD115B-024-NG1-LA that makes it suitable for continuous start-stop operations with high repeat frequencies. The motor’s output shaft is the plain type and has a shaft sealing ring designed according to DIN 3760 - Design A. It ensures a friction-locked shaft-hub connection without play and the motor’s smooth running. There is also an electrically-releasing holding brake of 70Nm holding torque in this MHD model. It holds the axis at a standstill when the motor is de-energized. The maximum speed of the motor is 4,000 revolutions per minute, and it has a theoretical maximum torque of 160.0Nm. It also has four pole pairs and a peak current rating of 145.0A.
