Product Description
Bosch Rexroth creates rapid-response automation systems by the integration of servo motors such as those in the MHD series with digital drive controllers from Indramat. The MHD motors are synchronous motors used as servo and main drive motors in automation and handling systems, machine tools, packaging and food processing machines, and printing and paper industries.
The MHD115B-024-NG0-LN is a permanent-magnet motor in the MHD series by Bosch Rexroth. The synchronous servo motor was built with electronic commutation, a feature that allows its peak torque to be utilizable across a wide speed range. It also allows the motor to be used for continous start-stop operations with high repeat frequencies. This motor is equipped with digital servo feedback for the detection of its relative indirect position. The encoder has a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes and a data memory for storing the motor’s parameters. Hence, it can be commissioned quickly and its adjustment to the drive controller can be achieved risk-free.
Since the MHD115B-024-NG0-LN has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 65 according to EN 60529, it can be operated safely in poor environmental conditions. Its housing is completely sealed and coated in a protective black varnish that is resistant to weathering, yellowing, and the buildup of chalky residue. The top speed of the motor is 4,000 revolutions per minute while its peak curent rating is 145.0Nm. Thanks to its lifetime-lubricated bearings and brushless design, it can be operated maintenance-free. The heat generated during the operation of this motor is dissipated by natural convection and liquid cooling. It requires an ambient temperature between 0oC and 40oC for its operation and should be installed at a maximum height of 1000m.
