Product Description
Bosch Rexroth has created a reputation for creating products with state-of-the-art technology across several industries. The MHD synchronous motors are one of these products. They are made out of permanent magnets obtained from rare earth materials and have electronic commutation. With intelligent digital drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth, the servo motors can be used to create cost-effective automation systems that can be used in several fields. They are also used in machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, and packaging and food processing machines.
The MHD115B-024-NG0-BN is cooled via surface cooling. Efficient heat dissipation from its stator windings to the outside wall of the motor housing gives it a high overload capability. It is equipped with an integrated optical encoder, specifically digital servo feedback, for indirect relative position recording. The encoder controls the motor's speed and position by sending signals to the drive controller. It has a data memory which makes the motor's startup quick and easy. The motor also has a plain shaft with shaft sealing rings for excellent running smoothness. Its maximum speed is 4,000 revolutions per minute.
Painted in a black prime coat in a/w RAL 9005, the MHD115B-024-NG0-BN is resistant to weathering, coloring, chalking, diluted acids, and diluted lyes. It has a closed design with a protection class of IP 65. This protection class means it has complete shock protection and protection against the penetration of dust and water jets. The housing coat, closed motor design, and protection class permit the motor to function under adverse environmental conditions. It should be operated at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C, relative humidity of 95%, and maximum installation height of 1000m above mean sea level.
