Product Description
The MHD synchronous motors are one of the numerous industry solutions manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. They are permanent-magnet motors with electronic commutation whose permanent magnets are made from rare earth materials. The motors are designed to be used with intelligent digital drive controllers by Bosch Rexroth to create cost-effective automation systems with extensive functionality. Their typical fields of application include machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, and packaging and food processing machines.
The motor feedback of the MHD115B-024-NG0-AN is digital servo feedback, an optical encoder with a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. It detects the relative indirect position of the motor. A plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring is also present in this MHD model. It provides a friction-locked shaft-hub connection without play and excellent running smoothness. In addition, the motor has two electrical connections, which are the power connector and the encoder connector. The power connector includes a connection for the temperature sensor, which protects the motor from damage by thermal overload. This motor’s maximum speed is 4,000 revolutions per minute, and its theoretical maximum torque is 160.0Nm.
The MHD115B-024-NG0-AN cools via natural convection and the liquid cooling mechanism. Hence, it is suitable for operations with extreme loads, such as during continuous start-stop operations with high repeat frequencies. It is designed for maintenance-free operation due to its brushless design and the use of lifetime grease-lubricated bearings. Its degree of protection is IP 65; it is, therefore, protected from the penetration of dust and water jets. The motor also has complete shock protection. Its housing is painted in a black prime coat resistant to weathering, coloring, chalking, diluted acids, and diluted lyes.
