Product Description
The high-performance motors of the MHD series are Bosch Rexroth servo motors used to construct rapid-response automation systems. This is achieved by their combination with the intelligent drive controllers from Indramat. The servo motors are also used as servo and main drive motors in machine tools, handling and mounting systems, and printing and paper processing machines.
The MHD112D-027-NP3-AN is a synchronous motor model in Bosch Rexroth’s MHD series. Due to the nature of materials used in its permanent magnet, the motor has a low inertia mass that makes it ideal for high-dynamics operations. It features electrical commutation; hence, it is suitable for continuous start-stop operations with high repeat frequencies. It also allows the direct overhung mounting of pinions and belt pulleys because its bearings are designed for high radial loads. These bearings have a service life of 30,000 operating hours as long as the motor is operated within limits allowed for radial and axial loads. With the lifetime-lubricated bearings and its brushless design, the motor can be operated maintenance-free.
The motor feedback of the MHD112D-027-NP3-AN is digital servo feedback. The encoder is equipped with a data memory that promotes the quick and easy startup of the motor. It also ensures the safe adaptation to its drive controller and stores relevant information like the motor parameters and control loop parameters. A built-in holding brake in this MHD motor model holds the servo axis when the motor is in the de-energized state. It has a holding torque of 70.0Nm and requires a rated DC voltage of 24V with a ±10% allowance. The output shaft here has a shaft sealing ring and a keyway according to DIN 6885-1.
