Product Description
The intelligent Indramat drive controllers can be combined with servo motors like those in the MHD series to produce highly efficient rapid-response automation systems. These systems are extensively used in applications like handling and automation systems, machine tools, printing and paper industries, and packaging and food processing machines. The innovative MHD servo motors have high-performance data and overload protection thanks to the inbuilt thermal sensors that continually monitor their temperature.
The MHD112D-024-NP0-BN is a synchronous servo motor in the MHD series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a permanent magnet motor with unique materials that give it low inertia and an excellent torque to inertia mass ratio. Its electronic commutation feature allows it to be used for continuous start-stop operations with high repeat frequencies. It also has a brushless design and bearings that remain lubricated throughout its operational lifetime. Together, these allow the motor to be operated maintenance-free. The bearings are created for high radial loads, supporting the direct overhung mounting of pulleys and pinions.
Digital servo feedback is the integrated encoder system of the MHD112D-024-NP0-BN. The encoder is a multi-turn absolute encoder that detects the absolute indirect position of the motor within 4,096 motor revolutions. It has data storage capabilities for storing the motor’s type name, control loop parameters, and other parameters. This enhances the quick startup of the motor and its adjustment between the motor and its drive controller. The Ingress Protection rating of this motor is IP 65; hence, it is dust-proof, touch-proof, and impermeable to spray from water jets. It is also suitable for safe use in adverse environmental conditions and has high overload capability.
