Product Description
The MHD synchronous motors are a collection of advanced AC servo motors designed and produced by Bosch Rexroth. These are permanent-magnet motors that exhibit commutation. When combined with the Bosch Rexroth's drive controllers, these motors form versatile automatization systems which can be applied across different industries. This is further enabled by the varying continuous torque of the MHD motor series. Applications of the MHD motors include handling and automation systems, machine tools, food and packaging machines, printing and paper industries.
The MHD112D-024-NP0-AN features a frame size of 112 and a frame length of D. Due to its housing design, heat is dissipated via natural convection or surface cooling, making it is a self-cooling motor. This motor has a protection degree of IP 65; hence, it has total protection against dust particles and low-pressure water penetration. This feature enables the motor to function appropriately under unfavorable weather conditions. According to DIN VDE 0530, this motor is insulated in accordance with class F. In addition, it is painted with a prime black varnish which offers protection against diluted acids, diluted lyes, coloring, and so on.
The MHD112D-024-NP0-AN presents a digital servo feedback encoder with a system accuracy of ±0.5 angular minutes. This encoder operates optically and allows the detection of the relative position of the motor. Typical of other models in the MHD 112 series, this motor is connected to power via the use of a flanged socket. In addition, this motor unit is compatible with all blower units suited to the MHD 112 motors. It is without a holding brake; therefore, its axis is not clamped when a machine is disconnected from power.
