Product Description
The MHD synchronous motors are permanent-magnet motors designed by Bosch Rexroth. Together with the Bosch Rexroth's drive controllers, they create the finest automatization systems suited to various applications. These applications include machine tools, handling and automation systems, printing and paper industries, and food and packaging machines.
The MHD112D-024-NG3-BN is an MHD motor of size 112. It exhibits a characteristic motor speed of 2000 min⁻¹ and a peak current of 59.0 A. Due to the employment of unique magnet materials in its construction, it has a low inertia mass. This motor exhibits electronic commutation; hence, it is suited for constant start-stop operations with high repeat frequencies. It is equipped with a plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring to enable the attachment of drive elements. At 20°c, it has a torque constant of 1.28 Nm/A and winding resistance of 1.45 Ohms. Also, its housing design allows natural convection or surface cooling to serve as a cooling method. These methods of heat dissipation enable the motor to have a high overload capability.
The MHD112D-024-NG3-BN is equipped with a digital servo feedback encoder, which enables the detection of the relative position of the motor. The data provided by this encoder allows for a quick and straightforward boot-up of the motor. In addition, this motor is connected to the power supply via a flanged socket plugged into side B. It is enclosed in a prime black coat that offers protection against damage by weathering, chalk, etc. Also, this device can be attached and operated at the height of 1000 m above sea level or less. With a protection degree of IP 65, it cannot be damaged by dust ingress or jet water.
