Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is known for its continuous innovation in the motion and logic industry. One of such innovations is the IndraDyn S (MSK) synchronous motors, which were designed to be used as servo and main drive motors. It has a wide range of applications, including machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, packaging, food-processing machines, automation, and handling. These motors are used in conjunction with drive controllers from Bosch Rexroth to create cost-effective automated systems that can perform all their expected functions.
The MHD112D-024-NG2-RN has a winding code of 24 which defines its electrical output data and a holding brake operated according to the electrically releasing principle with a torque of 32.0 Nm. The holding brake is required for clamping the servo axis when the machine is in a de-energized state. The electrical connections consist of the power connector and the encoder connector, both of which are connected to the right and facilitate the efficient operation of the motor. The power connector includes the temperature sensor, which prevents damage from thermal overload, and a connection for the holding brake. Its insulation class is F, which further protects it from thermal overload.
The housing of the MHD112D-024-NG2-RN is painted with a black prime coating and is suitable for cooling by natural convection, thus giving the motors high overload capability. The housing varnish protects the motor against weathering, yellowing, chalky build-ups, diluted acids, and lyes. It has a protection class of IP 65 according to DIN VDE 0470. Also, it is protected against contact with high voltage with motor parts either moving or alive (contact guards), the penetration by extrinsic objects, dust, and the penetration of water.
