Product Description
Rexroth's MHD synchronous motors are designed to be used with intelligent IndraDrive controllers to create cost-effective systems with extensive functionality. They are intended to be used as servo and main drive motors, utilized in printing and paper processing industries, handling and automation, food processing, and packaging machines. They have several advantages, including high operational reliability, high dynamics, high-performance data, high overload capability, and overload protection, all of which contribute to their functioning.
The MHD112D-024-NG2-BN motor feedback is digital servo feedback that controls its speed and determines its relative position. It has the recommended plain shaft with a shaft sealing ring which provides a friction-locked shaft hub connection without play and excellent running smoothness. It is equipped with a holding brake with a torque of 22.0 Nm that holds the axle when the machine is in a de-energized state. Its electrical connections are standardized with the power connector and encoder connector. The connections are protective extra-low voltage systems that permit use with devices with basic insulation.
Heat dissipation of the MHD112D-024-NG2-BN is from the stator windings to the outside wall of the motor housing via natural convection. This heat dissipation mechanism contributes to the high overload capability of the unit. Its housing varnish is prime coat black in a/w RAL 9005; hence it is resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky buildups, diluted acids, and lyes. In addition to its housing, it has a protection class of IP 65 which means it is protected against dust penetration. Also, it has complete shock protection and protection against jet water directed at it from different directions. With these levels of protection, it can be used under adverse environmental conditions.
