The outer enclosure also gives protection against the ingress of oils, emuslions, and non corrosive materials. There is protection against the ingress of water jets and build-up of dust and debris inside the motor. The motor’s rotor has a low inertia that facilitates the execution of high speed movements that are needed for start stop tasks.
