Product Description
The MHD synchronous motors by Bosch Rexroth are designed to be used in conjunction with IndraDrive controllers to create cost-effective automation systems with extensive functionality. Motors in the MHD series are intended to be used as servo and main drive motors and have a wide range of applications. They can be used in machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, packaging and food-processing machines, automation, and handling. They have several advantages due to high operational reliability, high dynamics, high-performance data, high overload capability, and overload protection.
The motor encoder of the MHD112C-058-NG0-AN is the Digital servo feedback for relative indirect position detection. The motor encoder has a data memory for a quick and easy start-up of the motor and adjustment between the motor and the drive controller without damage to the motor. It has a plain shaft that provides a friction-locked shaft-hub connection without play and excellent running smoothness. Its connections and terminals have protective extra-low voltage, protecting the user from electric shock.
The MHD112C-058-NG0-AN should be operated at an ambient temperature of 40°C, relative humidity of 95%, and at a setup height of 1000 m above mean sea level. Its housing varnish is prime coat black in a/w RAL 9005; hence it is resistant to weathering, yellowing, chalky buildups, diluted acids, and lyes. Its housing is designed for cooling by natural convection hence its high overload capability. Its protection class of IP 65 offers complete shock protection, protection against penetration of dust, protection against a water jet from a nozzle directed against the housing from all directions. The motor is suitable for use under adverse environmental conditions due to its protection class.
