Product Description
Bosch Rexroth designs and manufactures drive and motion control units that can be used to create various kinds of drive systems. Some of the devices in its IndraDrive system are the synchronous servo motors in the MHD series. They are used to build rapid-response automation systems with the digital drive controllers from Indramat. Their applications include machine tools and automation and handling systems.
The MHD112C-035-PP3-BN is an MHD servo motor model designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has a characteristic motor speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute and a maximum speed of 4,000 revolutions per minute. This motor is a maintenance-free motor with a brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings. These bearings are built for high radial loads, and they allow the direct overhung mounting of pinions and belt pulleys. The motor also supports easy cabling as it supports the use of cable sets available in various designs. It is easy to install, and this can be done in any position as desired by the user.
The housing of the MHD112C-035-PP3-BN is coated in a black prime coating which is highly resistant to weathering, coloring, chalking, diluted acids, and diluted lyes. It also supports the cooling of the motor by natural cooling and surface cooling. Because it is completely sealed, it is dustproof, touch-proof, impermeable to solid extrinsic objects and sprays from water jets. Hence, it belongs to the IP 65 protection category according to EN 60529. With its digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder, the absolute indirect position of the motor can be detected within 4,096 motor revolutions. It also has a data memory for the storage of the motor’s parameters.
