The MHD synchronous motors are permanent-magnet motors with electronic commutation. These advanced servo motors integrate with Bosch Rexroth's digital drive controllers to create economic and highly efficient automatization systems. These motors present varying continuous torque enabling their wide range of applications. This includes machine tools, handling and automation systems, food and packaging machines, printing and paper industries.

The MHD112C-035-PP0-AN is an MHD servo motor of size 112. It has a brushless design and lifetime-lubricated bearings, enabling it for maintenance free-operations. Also, it has digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder. Due to the memory stored in this encoder, this motor exhibits simple and quick boot-up. Also, it has a protection degree of IP65, which means it is protected against harm by dust or water. This enables this motor to function effectively even under dangerous environmental conditions. In addition, the housing design presently permits natural convection or surface cooling to serve as a cooling method. Meanwhile, it is compatible with all blower units available to the MHD112 motors.  Also, it has a rated winding inductivity of 4.2 mH and a peak current of 139.5 A.

When in storage, the MHD112C-035-PP0-AN requires a room with a temperature range of -20 to +80°c to function properly upon coupling. This motor weighs 45kg and presents a peak torque applied across a wide speed range. According to DIN VDE 0530, it is placed in insulation class F.  In addition, it is without a holding brake, and the power connector is plugged into Side B. This motor can be attached easily and in position to the machine. With the inclusion of motor temperature monitoring, the motor is protected against overloading.
