Product Description
The Rexroth MHD synchronous motors are used with intelligent Indradrive controllers to provide cost-effective automation systems with extensive functionality. The MHD motors are permanent magnet motors with electronic commutation; their magnets are specially obtained from rare earth metals. They are characterized by high operational reliability, high dynamics, high-performance data, high overload capability, and overload protection due to temperature sensors.
All connections and terminals in the MHD112C-024-PG2-AN between 5V and 50V are protective low voltage systems designed in line with the international standards on electrical safety, thereby preventing injury by electric shock. The motor has frame length C and a continuous torque at standstill of 38.0 Nm. Its maximum speed is 4,000 rpm. It is equipped with digital servo feedback with an integrated multiturn absolute encoder that controls the speed and/or absolute position of the motor. It has a plain shaft that provides a friction-locked shaft-hub connection without play and excellent running smoothness. To couple the machine elements to be driven by the motor shaft, clamping sets, clamping sleeves, or clamping elements are used. When it is operated within the given limits, the bearing lifetime is 30,000 operating hours.
The housing varnish of the MHD112C-024-PG2-AN is a black prime coat in a/w RAL 9005 and it makes the housing resistant to weather, coloring, chalking, diluted acids, and diluted lyes. The housing is designed for cooling by natural convection. Its protection class is IP 65 which offers the motor complete protection against the penetration of dust, complete shock protection, and protection against jet water from all directions. Due to its design, it has a maintenance-free operation and can be used under adverse environmental conditions.
