Product Description
To create rapid-response automation systems, the intelligent digital drive controllers by Bosch Rexroth can be combined with some series of servo motors. One of these is the MHD series of permanent magnet servo motors. The automation systems built this way can be used for several applications such as machine tools, handling and automation systems, food processing and packaging machines, and printing and paper processing machines.
The MHD112C-024-NP3-RN is a Bosch Rexroth servo motor in the MHD series of synchronous motors. This AC servo motor has a frame size of 112, meaning that it has a flange size of 192mm and a centering diameter of 130mm. Thanks to its digital servo feedback, its speed and position can be controlled smoothly. This encoder system provides signals for its drive controller, which then transmits its positional value to a superordinate CNC or SPS. The encoder also has a data memory that stores the motor’s vital parameters, ensuring its quick startup and risk-free adaptation to its drive controller. It has a system accuracy of +/- 0.5 angular minutes.
There is an electrically-released holding brake on the MHD112C-024-NP3-RN. It has a holding torque of 70Nm and is operated with a rated voltage of 24V DC with a +/- 10% tolerance. The motor is also equipped with an output shaft with a radial shaft sealing ring corresponding to DIN 3760 - Design A and a keyway that complies with the DIN 6885-1 requirement. The maximum speed of this motor is 4,000 revolutions per minute, while its peak torque is 148.0Nm. Its Ingress Protection is IP 65, indicating that it is touch-proof and cannot be penetrated by solid extrinsic objects or water jets.
