Product Description
Produced by Rexroth Bosch Indramat, the MHD112C-024-NP0-BN is built compact, rugged, and optimized for torque delivery at low-speeds.
The motor is 458mm long, with a flange size of 192mm and a centering diameter of 130mm. Based on its housing type ‘N’, it supports a natural convection or surface cooling policy for heat dissipation during operations. The motor is classified for IP65 category of protection against dust and water, as well as, a class ‘F’ insulation according to DIN VDE 0530 part 1. While the motor has these protections, it is recommended for operation in an ambient temperature range of 0-40℃ , and should be routinely cleaned for dust to facilitate its cooling scheme; especially for the natural convection cooled type.
The performance of this motor is impressive: a continuous torque at standstill of 38.0Nm (57.0Nm for surface cooling) and a maximum torque capacity of 148.0Nm. Under nominal conditions: the motor generates a torque of 16.6Nm (44.1Nm for surface cooling) at a speed of 2500min-1. The maximum permissible speed, however, is 4000min-1: this is the speed at the maximum allowable current of 120A. The motor has a moment of inertia of 2.73×10-2 kgm2, which implies it can support loads with moments of inertia of up to 0.273kgm2 within the recommended 10:1 load-motor moment of inertia ratio. The motor shaft is designed with a keyway and key according to DIN 6885-1 (along with shaft sealing rings), but it has no option for holding brake. It uses a digital servo feedback for communicating positional information with the drive controller, and this is output via the encoder cable port mounted at the top of the motor (it also has a port for electrical connection). Finally, the MHD112C-024-NP0-BN is guaranteed to offer high reliability, maintainability and efficiency, over its long lifespan. The MHD112C-024-NP0-BN can be shipped to any address globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
