Product Description
The MHD112B-024-PP1-BN AC synchronous motor offering from Bosch Rexroth features a RAL 9005 black colored prime coat. The motor has a weight of 34kg and an IP 65 degree of protection when the encoder and power cables are properly mounted. The housing of the device is designed such that the motor can be cooled by surface cooling or natural convection during operation. The motor may depict faulty control if its sensors or encoders are malfunctioning or its components are operated incorrectly. The power connection of the drive used with the product must be isolated with a starting lockout or an emergency stop circuit to avoid unplanned startup.
The housing of the synchronous motor may become very hot during operation and can cause injury or burns if touched. It must be touched only after at least 10 minutes of switching the motor off so that the housing gets cooled. The flange of the device has a size of 192mm. The product has a continuous torque of 28Nm when it is in standstill mode. It features an integrated encoder system to generate the motor feedback. The holding brake has a voltage rating of 24VDC +/-10% and a current rating of 0.71A. This brake has a connection time of 25ms and a disconnection time of 50ms.
The synchronous motor can be operated under adverse environmental conditions because of the entirely closed motor design. The device features a favorable torque to inertia mass ratio. It can be installed in any position. The data memory of the encoder makes the startup process of the product quick and simple. The unit can be made to function in paper and food processing machines. The motor must be started only if the machinery housing is in compliance with the application standards. The MHD series motor can be dispatched to any country with a one-year warranty period.
