Product Description
MHD synchronous motors offer extensive functionality. They are designed for use as servo and main drive motors. The monitoring carried out by the drive components will generally mitigate against faulty operation in the connected drives. Additional actuators and sensors can be fitted to these motors to extend the control and monitoring capabilities. These motors perform optimally; in accord with manufacturer’s predictions if operated at an environmental temperature not exceeding 45 degrees Celsius and elevation not exceeding 1000 meters.
The MHD112B-024-PG0-BN is of size 112 and length B. It has the 024 windings code which defines the output data for the motor. It has a digital servo feedback with integrated multiturn absolute encoder which keeps track of and communicates motor position and speed to the drive controllers. Driven by a plain shaft, this motor has a characteristic speed of 2000 revolutions per minute, a rated speed of 3500 revolutions per minute and a maximum speed of 4000 revolutions per minute. It does not have a holding brake. The output direction of the power connection is on side B.
The MHD112B-024-PG0-BN has a 28Nm continuous torque at standstill. When installing the motor avoid contact with live parts that have 50 volts or more with your bare hands or conductive tools. Allow 5 minutes to pass prior to beginning work in order for the capacitors to discharge and be safe enough to touch. Use suitable equipment during mounting and transportation. The housing on this motor is designed for surface cooling or natural convection to take place. MHD motors are compatible with the optional axial or radial blower units that can be ordered. A blower may be needed if the motor faces extreme loads. The MHD112B-024-PG0-BN can be shipped to any address globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
