Product Description
The MHD synchronous motors by Bosch Rexroth reflect the latest state of technology used in manufacturing them. They are intended to be used as servo and main drive motors and should be used in machine tools, printing and paper-processing machines, packaging and food-processing machines, automation, and handling. When used with intelligent IndraDrive controllers, they create cost-effective automation systems with extensive functionality.
The motor encoder of the MHD112B-024-NP0-AN is the digital servo feedback for relative indirect position detection. The encoder is equipped with a data memory which allows for quick and easy startup and adjustment between the motor and the drive controller without the risk of damage to the motor. It is equipped with two electric connections; a power connector which includes a temperature sensor, and an encoder connection for the motor feedback. Bosch Rexroth supplies the cable sets required for these electrical connections. Due to the temperature sensor for temperature monitoring, the motor has overload protection; it is protected from thermal damage.
The MHD112B-024-NP0-AN housing design allows for heat loss by natural convection. The housing varnish is prime coat black a/w RAL 9005, which is resistant to weather, coloring, chalking, diluted acids, and diluted lyes. The housing design gives it high operational reliability and also protection from adverse environmental conditions. It functions maximally at an ambient temperature of 40°C and when installed at 1000 m above mean sea level. When set up in a shock-absorbed way, it can carry loads like those typically occurring in presses, punches, or punch inlets. Its protection class is IP 65, and this offers complete shock protection, protection against penetration of dust and water jet from a nozzle directed at the motor housing from all directions.
