Product Description
Bosch Rexroth is known for its state-of-the-art products that are operationally safe. One of these is the Rexroth MHD series of synchronous motors, which when used in conjunction with IndraDrive controllers, create cost-effective automation systems with a wide range of functions. Motors in the MHD series are designed to be used as servo and main drive motors. Their fields of application include printing and paper processing industries, handling and automation, food processing, and packaging machines. They are permanent magnet motors with electric commutation whose magnets are obtained from rare earth materials.
The electrical connections of the MHD112A-035-NP1-BN are standardized; it has a power connector that includes the connection for the temperature sensor and holding brake. The second connection is the encoder connection which connects the integrated encoder system, digital servo feedback. It controls the motor speed and determines its relative position. The motor has four pole pairs and a maximum speed of 4000 rpm. It also has a holding brake that keeps the servo axis in place when the machine is de-energized. Its output shaft is mounted as a friction-locked shaft hub connection using an output shaft with a keyway.
The MHD112A-035-NP1-BN has a low-maintenance operation due to its brushless design and oil-lubricated bearings. It has a high overload capability due to its cooling by natural convection. It can be used under adverse environmental conditions as it is protected against penetration of dust, against shock, and protected against the effects of water when exposed to water jets because of its IP 65 rating. Its housing varnish is prime coat black in a/w RAL 9005, which makes it resistant against weather, coloring, chalking, diluted acids, and diluted lyes.
