Product Description
The Bosch MHD112A-024-PP2-BN is a synchronous motor. The motor speed is synchronized to the frequency of input current. The motor current is supplied by a drive controller. The controller adjusts its output to control not only the motor speed but also the torque and position. The motor includes an integrated multiurn absolute encoder. Multiturn encoders provide feedback within multiple turns of the motor shaft. The motor and drive controller are connected through two cables. One of the cables is a power cable that connects to the power connector on side B the motor housing. The other cable is a feedback cable that connects to the feedback connector on the motor. The housing of the MHD112A-024-PP2-BN is designed for natural convection or surface cooling. Natural convection can be used for low motor loads and surface cooling for higher motor loads.
Performance specifications for the MHD112A-024-PP2-BN also vary with the cooling method that is used. With natural convection and 60K overtemperature, the continuous torque at standstill is 15 Nm, the continuous current is 13.1 Amps, the rated torque is 10.1 Nm and the rated current is 6.2 Amps. With natural convection and 100K overtemperature, the continuous torque at standstill is 17 Nm, the continuous current is 15.9 Amps, the rated torque is 13.8 Nm and the rated current is 9.1 Amps. . With surface cooling and 60/100K overtemperature, the continuous torque at standstill is 22.5 Nm, the continuous current is 19.7 Amps, the rated torque is 19.4 Nm and the rated current is 12.0 Amps. The MHD112A-024-PP2-BN features an integrated holding brake. The torque rating of the brake is 32 Nm. The shaft on the MHD112A-024-PP2-BN includes a keyway and a sealing ring.
